Photography isn’t just a way to record a moment or capture a grandiose scene. For me the human face is where the focus of my attention lies. There is an unlimited supply of interesting faces and like a sort of hunter, I am always looking for them. When I find the face that intrigues me, I create an image, which – in my opinion - has captured a unique expression of life and perhaps an individual soul.

However, we live in a world enriched with humor, pathos, laughter, pain, fear and a myriad of other things. These kinds of emotions are fleeting and difficult to photograph. However, when these feelings are captured in an image then we have a photo that is just not a record of a moment or a scene but something that either yearns to tell a story about the instant itself or offers in intimate detail something personal about the people in the photograph.

In this collection, I try to show my world and some of the people who make this life interesting. We just need to look around “to see.” Each one of these photos is a vignette of life showing a bit of the human condition.
